Shane Taylor Welding Ltd is a specialist welding, fabrication, pipework and mechanical engineering  company based in Cumbria with a dedicated team of professional and skilled welders, pipefitters, fabricators and labourers. We offer practical solutions from specialist pipework fabrications, full site installations, repairs and all fabrications in the Engineering, Manufacturing and Construction industries.

Shane Taylor will undertake full site surveys as required to fully understand your requirements and produce a fully detailed written assessment and quotation before commencing work.

Our fabricators are time served and qualified to BS EN 287-1,2004 and BS EN 288 P2 in welding all types of materials including all grades of steel, aluminium, stainless steel (including exotic stainless steels) and cast iron whether on site or in our workshop based in Cumbria.

Our on-site welding and engineering services cover the whole of the UK including wales and Scotland.  Our staff are trained in the use of mobile access platforms, scaffolding, forklift & telehandlers. Plus, confined space trained and carry CSCS cards.

Shane Taylor welding offer 24-hour 365 days a year service and provide emergency solutions to cover for those unexpected problems.

We are experienced in working on and for highly regulated site’s, such as Industrial, Nuclear, Construction, Food Manufacturing & Marine situations, specialising in Biogas, Chemical & Oil sites. Specialising in Pipework Fabrications.

Shane Taylor Welding Ltd offer a wide range of Welding, Fabrication, Pipework & Mechanical Engineering Services to assist all businesses regardless of size. We are based in West Cumbria, but are equipped to undertake contracts across the UK.

Our services are extensive and cover all fabrication work to more specialist site services including:

  • Oil Refineries – Tank plating and repairs, pipeline installation and refurbishment aerobic digestion plants – Digestate, hot water and Biogas pipework in stainless steel, mild steel and MDPE fusion bonded pipework including pump pipework and ancillary components installation, pipework pressure testing, NDT testing as required.
  • Factory maintenance.
  • Combined Heat and Power engine installations – Steam pipework, gas pipework (Biogas and natural gas) & chemical pipework.
  • Fabrication and erection of portal buildings and other fabricated assemblies.
  • Power station welding, our welders are certified for Power station work.

We make repairs within our workshop in Maryport or we can provide an on-site welding services and a range of machining capabilities including CNC Plasama Cutting, both locally and nationally.

We are able to carry out Steelwork services, which includes a wide range of steelwork engineering & fabrications.
